Heartburn and reflux lunch and learn

Heartburn and reflux, you don't have to live with it!

February 16, 2024

Trinity, FL — HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is excited to bring timely health topics to our community, allowing participants to meet medical experts, during a lunch-and-learn format.

Heartburn and reflux: they are types of indigestion that can cause a burning sensation in your chest. The two can be caused by acid regurgitating up into your esophagus. There are minimally invasive surgical treatments available to help treat these conditions. You can learn about some of these treatments including one that involves the insertion of a small flexible band designed to restore your body’s natural barrier to reflux in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) at an upcoming lunch and learn.

Jamii St. Julie, M.D. will be there to teach you more about the condition and treating it. You don’t want to miss this.

The presentation will be held at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, 9330 State Road 54, Trinity, on Wednesday, March 6, 12-1 p.m.

Please RSVP to 800.530.2799. A light, boxed lunch will be served.
