HCA Florida Healthcare Hospitals named to Healthgrades' America's 250 Best Hospitals

HCA Florida Healthcare announced today 12 of its hospitals are among America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2024, according to new research released by Healthgrades, the leading resource consumers use to find a hospital or doctor. Of these, three facilities, HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, HCA Florida Kendall Hospital and HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, are included in America’s 100 Best Hospitals. This achievement puts these HCA Florida Healthcare hospitals in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance.

In addition, HCA Florida Healthcare hospitals are among the top providers in the state in numerous key specialties. Across the statewide network, 22 hospitals received more than 100 quality awards in multiple specialties, including Joint Replacement, Gastrointestinal, Orthopedics and Cardiovascular. These rankings reflect HCA Florida Healthcare’s commitment to providing the best care possible and distinguish the network as a leader in the state for specialty care.

Those receiving honors as America’s Best Hospitals for 2024 include:

• HCA Florida Memorial Hospital

• HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital
• HCA Florida Ocala Hospital
• HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital (Top 100)
• HCA Florida Trinity Hospital

Four of these facilities (HCA Florida JFK Hospital, HCA Florida Northside Hospital, HCA Florida Northwest Hospital and HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital) are included in the list of America’s Best Hospitals for the first time. HCA Florida Aventura Hospital has received this honor consecutively since 2021.

Healthgrades evaluates hospitals solely on what matters most–patient outcomes. The organization uses risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for more than 30 conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide to determine the top-performing hospitals. The Healthgrades 2024 analysis revealed significant variation in hospital performance, making it increasingly important to seek care at top-rated programs.
