I was told I needed bypass surgery and I started to get nervous, but the staff quickly put me at ease. They were kind and caring and so professional; I knew I was getting the best."

"After my surgery, I began cardiac rehab and graduated within two months. I also joined the Mended Hearts support group. Now I'm back at the hospital as a volunteer. When I see these staff members, I think, "Because of these people, I'm alive today." That's why I can't do enough for them."
