Oviedo Medical Center announces HCA Florida Maitland Emergency opening

Maitland, FL – Oviedo Medical Center, a part of HCA Florida Healthcare, is announcing the opening today of a new freestanding emergency room, HCA Florida Maitland Emergency. The $17.7 million facility offers emergency care for adults and children 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The new emergency room is located at 9401 Summit Centre Way on the corner of Maitland Blvd (SR 414) and Forest City Road (SR 434) in Maitland.

HCA Florida Maitland Emergency is a full-service, state-of-the-art emergency room with board certified emergency medicine physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals ready to service the needs of the community with the same capabilities as a main hospital emergency room. It features 11 emergency exam rooms, CT scan, digital X-ray, ultrasound and laboratory services, and is capable of caring for all ages, including pediatrics. The 11,000-square-foot facility is expected to serve more than 100,000 local residents and employs approximately 22 full-time healthcare professionals. 

The opening of this new freestanding ER is part of HCA Florida Healthcare’s continued expansion in Central Florida. 

With the opening of HCA Florida Maitland Emergency, Oviedo Medical Center offers three 24/7/365 freestanding emergency rooms in Central Florida: HCA Florida Baldwin Park Emergency, HCA Florida Alafaya Emergency and HCA Florida Maitland Emergency.
