HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital donates $10,000 to Tampa Bay Beaches for hurricane relief
The donation will aid the Chamber in it's relief efforts for the citizens of the Tampa Bay Beaches, following Hurricane Helene.
Tampa, FL — HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital has donated $10,000 to the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce to support disaster relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The hurricane brought record-breaking storm surges to the Tampa Bay area, leaving many residents in urgent need of basic necessities.
The donation will help the Chamber provide essential resources, such as food, water, clothing and emergency supplies, to local residents and businesses as they recover and rebuild in the wake of the storm.
“As a healthcare provider committed to the well-being of our community, we recognize the critical need for immediate support in times of crisis,” said Brent Burish, chief executive officer of HCA Florida Pasadena and St. Petersburg Hospitals. “We hope this contribution will help accelerate recovery efforts and bring comfort to those affected by Hurricane Helene.”
The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce is actively working with local agencies and volunteers to distribute supplies and ensure that relief reaches those most impacted by the disaster.
"We are so fortunate on the barrier islands to have community partners like HCA to support the recovery efforts,” said Robin Miller, president, Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce. “We are beaches strong."
HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital continues to demonstrate its commitment to the health and safety of the Tampa Bay community, both within the hospital and beyond.
