David Link is named Vice President of Operations at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital

Bringing more than 24 years of healthcare leadership experience to the team.

Sun City Center, FL – HCA Florida South Shore Hospital is proud to announce the appointment of David Link as the new Vice President of Operations, effective April 21, 2024. With over 24 years of experience in healthcare, David brings a wealth of expertise and a background in driving operational excellence to HCA Healthcare.

In his new role, David Link will oversee all aspects of operations at South Shore Hospital, including strategic planning, resource allocation, process improvement and quality assurance initiatives. He will work closely with hospital leadership to optimize efficiency, enhance patient experience and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our community.

With his leadership, we are confident in our ability to continue providing exceptional care to our patients while adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape.”

Prior to joining South Shore Hospital, David Link held various leadership positions such as Ethics and Compliance Officer, Health Information Management Director, Manager of Document Imaging Center and more. Most recently, David served as Ethics and Compliance Officer at St. Marks Hospital, an HCA facility in Utah, as well as additional leadership responsibilities for environmental services, HAZMAT task force, physician contracting and the cancer program.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Anchorage and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Weber State University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds FEMA Incident Command and Hazmat Operations certificates.
