How can you lower your risk for colorectal cancer?

Find out at the HCA Florida Englewood Hospital Wellness Series luncheon “What is Colorectal Cancer?”

Englewood, FL  – The Wellness Series hosted by HCA Florida Englewood Hospital will host “What is Colorectal Cancer” on Wednesday, August 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Suncoast Auditorium at 779 Medical Drive in Englewood.

Cancer is the leading cause of death in the United States and Florida. According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 3 people in the United States who should get tested for colorectal cancer have never been screened.

"I highly recommend you be proactive with your health and do preventative screenings. Early detection is critical, and a colonoscopy screening saves lives," said Dr. Shea Jones. “Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers.”

Join us to learn about colorectal cancer prevention, screening guidelines, diagnosis and treatment with board-certified general surgeon Shea Jones, D.O., a member of the medical staff of HCA Florida Englewood Hospital.

A complimentary lunch will be served and convenient parking is available.

Reservations are required by 5 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024. To reserve your spot, call 888.685.1598 or visit https://bit.ly/WellnessSeriesEvents.
