Tampa, Fla. — Congratulations to Sean Oldenburg from the Gulfport Fire and Rescue for being named HCA Florida Pinellas Market's newest EMS All-Star! Each quarter, the four HCA Florida hospitals in Pinellas County — HCA Florida Northside Hospital, Largo Hospital, Pasadena Hospital, and St. Petersburg Hospital — recognize emergency medical services (EMS) professionals who go above and beyond to serve their community. This quarter, Sean Oldenburg has been distinguished with this prestigious honor.

Sean’s nomination was based on his outstanding performance as an EMS worker, but his selfless dedication to training and supporting newer team members set him apart. His actions have elevated his own work and enriched the entire EMS team.

"Sean Oldenburg has proven himself to be an excellent paramedic," said Tim Burton, Fire Captain, Gulfport Fire Department. "We have three emergency medical technicians (EMTs) currently in Paramedic School, and he is always sharing his knowledge with them and helping them through scenarios. His help and dedication to the Gulfport Fire Department has been invaluable."

Sean’s commitment to excellence and willingness to mentor others have significantly impacted the Gulfport Fire and Rescue team. His leadership and expertise ensure that new EMTs are well-prepared to serve the community with the same dedication and skill he exemplifies daily.

The HCA Florida Pinellas Market's EMS All-Star program aims to highlight the exceptional contributions of EMS workers who demonstrate unparalleled commitment to their profession and their community. Sean Oldenburg’s recognition is a testament to his hard work, compassion, and positive influence on his colleagues and the citizens he serves.
