St. Petersburg Hospital partners with Boy Scouts of America Troop 285

HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital will serve as a community partner for Boy Scout's of America Troop 285.

St. Petersburg, FL - HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital announced today that the Boy Scout’s of America Troop 285, based in St. Petersburg has been awarded $1,000, establishing the hospital as a community partner. Through this partnership, St. Petersburg Hospital will provide on-site medical education at the Troop 285’s main annual event on February 10, promoting physical and mental well-being.

“I am pleased we can support the efforts of our local Boy Scouts troop,” said Brent Burish,  CEO of HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital and HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. “The incredible work our colleagues do every day is a natural fit with the scouts, who take an oath, not just to their community, but to keep themselves physically strong and mentally awake. I’m grateful for this opportunity to serve as community partners.”

The Boy Scouts Troop 285 Car & Bike show is scheduled for Saturday, February 10 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Quaker Steak & Lube, 10400 49th St N, Clearwater, FL 33762.
