South Florida high school student supports parents of NICU babies

Local high school student donates books to Level III NICU at HCA Florida University Hospital.

Ariana Intsiful, an 11th grader at NSU University school in Davie has launched a community service project to help parents and newborns at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at HCA Florida University hospital.

Through ‘NICU Literacy & Love,’ Intsiful hopes to empower parents, enabling them to spend quality time with their newborns and alleviating some of the stress and challenges they face.
