Healthgrades names HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital one of America's 50 Best Hospitals for surgical care for second year in a row

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital has once again been recognized as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Surgical Care, according to new research released by Healthgrades, the leading marketplace connecting doctors and patients. This achievement reflects the hospital’s outstanding clinical outcomes for surgical care and puts HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for surgical care. HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is the only hospital in Charlotte County to earn a Surgical Care Excellence Award in 2023 and 2024.

This year’s analysis revealed significant variation in patient outcomes between America’s 50 Hospitals for Surgical Care and hospitals that did not receive this distinction.
