Shawnahan King's road to recovery at Kendall Hospital was supported by the doctors and nursing staff to put them and their family at ease.
“From the moment I arrived at Kendall Hospital, the doctors and nurses immediately made me and my family as comfortable and informed as possible for the road I had ahead. They truly provided me with the tools I needed to climb the mountain we call being a trauma survivor. Remember that we survivors aren't the only ones that fall apart during these unfortunate events — our families do too. Somehow they managed to put me back together while being constant shoulders for my family to lean on. My PT and OT therapist went above and beyond for me at every turn, and it is thanks to them that I recovered so quickly after the doctors had pieced me back together. My family and I will be forever grateful to the hard-working and knowledgeable staff at Kendall Hospital.”
