HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital welcomes Chief Operating Officer Samuel Boadi
Samuel's wide range of experience within healthcare has provided him with the abilities to lead at Oak Hill.
Hernando County, Fla. — HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is pleased to announce that Samuel (Sam) Boadi has joined the hospital as chief operating officer (COO). He arrives from HCA Florida Lake City Hospital where he was COO for the 113-bed hospital that serves Columbia, Hamilton and Suwannee Counties.
“Sam brings a strong background in leading a wide range of hospital services in facilities that have spanned from community hospitals to large regional facilities,” said CEO Ken Wicker. “He is a results-driven leader who has successfully managed major construction projects and improved employee engagement and enhanced the patient experience in departments he led.”
Prior to working in Lake City, Boadi served as the vice president of operations at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, where he managed Radiology, Lab Services, Security, PBX, Pharmacy, Food and Nutrition, Wound Care, Bariatrics and Premier Parking. Additionally, he co-led construction project management and functioned as the co-chief staffing officer and co-ethics and compliance officer.
Boadi was also an administrative fellow with HCA Healthcare’s Parkridge Health System, an administrative resident with Baptist Memorial Healthcare and a program coordinator at HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Division.
He earned a Master of Health Administration from the University of Memphis and a Master of Science in Kinesiology ,with a concentration in Exercise Physiology, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Tennessee. He is also a graduate of the Executive Residency program, Early Careerist Collaborative program and Executive Development Program at HCA Healthcare.
