HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and the Education Foundation of Osceola County are supporting local families during the back-to-school season. The hospital and foundation teamed up for an annual school supply drive, sponsored by the hospital’s Shared-Governance Council.

The supply drive collected more than 1,700 items, including paper, crayons, markers, pencils, binders, folders, glue, backpacks and more.

With more than 3 out of 4 students in Osceola County living in poverty, many families can’t buy essential supplies for school. The supply drive aimed to ease some worries and help students start the new year smoothly.
