HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital receives Employer Choice Award
HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital was recently awarded the Employer Choice Award from Keiser University
Tampa, FL — HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital was recently presented with the Keiser University Employer Choice Award at the university’s annual Statewide Commencement Ceremony. Over 3,000 students, family members and university officials celebrated graduates from Keiser’s 21 Florida campuses.
During the commencement ceremony, Keiser was pleased to present the Employer Choice Award to HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital, noting they are a valued partner who provides Keiser students with internship and observer opportunities in a hospital setting. Sonia Wellman, Chief Executive Officer at HCA Health South Tampa accepted the award on behalf of the hospital. “Our relationship with Keiser University is vital to helping us meet the growing healthcare needs of this community,” said Wellman. “To meet this growing demand, we recognize the importance of the need to train professionals in the communities we serve. For this reason, we are grateful to partner with Keiser University and their students.”
