Tampa, FL – HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital is suspending services in advance of Hurricane Helene following Zone A evacuation orders.  Patients transfers have been completed to nearby hospitals within the HCA Florida Healthcare network and will be followed by Emergency Room services closing at 4:00 pm today and the facility at 7:00 pm.

“Patient safety is our top priority and our patients have been efficiently relocated to hospitals equipped to support their ongoing care during the storm,” explained CEO Ned Hill.  “In many cases, our dedicated colleagues accompanied our patients and we are looking forward to welcoming them back after the storm passes and reopening the hospital when it is safe to do so.”
