What to expect at this location

Triage process

People who require the most urgent care will be first to be treated at the emergency room. This means that it may be possible for someone who arrived after you to be treated first. It is, however, our commitment to treat every patient as soon as possible.

If you arrive to the ER with a life-threatening condition, you will be taken directly to an exam room. If your condition does not require immediate care, you may be asked to have a seat in our lobby until an exam room becomes available. If you feel your condition has changed while waiting, please inform the reception desk right away.

Registration process

During your visit, you will be visited by a registration clerk who will gather your information at your bedside. They will ask you to sign a treatment consent form and to provide your name, address, phone number, personal physician and insurance information.

Evaluation

Once you are in an exam room, you will receive a medical screening exam by one of our physicians, physician assistants or nurse practitioners. Depending on the type of illness or injury, a nurse may start an IV or obtain a blood or urine sample. Additionally, you may receive diagnostic testing, such as imaging scans or laboratory tests.

Our goal is to keep you comfortable and conduct tests as quickly as possible. Some tests take longer to complete, and we appreciate your patience as we work to provide the care you need.

Treatment

Your treatment will depend on your physician's orders following diagnostic testing and the medical evaluation. Our staff will keep you informed about what to expect during every part of the treatment process.
