The 100th spine surgery, performed by Dr. John Stevenson, a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in spine care, is a testament to the hospital's expertise and the collaborative efforts of its medical team, surgical staff, and cutting-edge facilities.

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital has made significant investments in its spine care program, which includes advanced surgical technologies and a dedicated team of spine specialists. As part of its continued commitment to excellence and care close to home, HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is building a $88 million tower at the facility that will double the footprint of surgical services from 11,995 square feet to 21,815 square feet, providing additional operating rooms and modernized patient care areas to better serve the community.
