Neurological rehabilitation
Neurological rehabilitation is used to treat diseases, disorders or injuries related to the nervous system. Depending on the severity of the condition, neurological rehabilitation can be done on an inpatient or outpatient basis and is designed to improve brain function and independence.
Our neurorehabilitation program
We provide rehabilitative care for patients with various neurological conditions, such as Guillain-Barré syndrome, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
Personalized rehabilitative treatments
We tailor our programs to your specific needs as well as your backgrounds and interests, as this often results in the best outcomes. As an extension of our physical therapy and rehabilitation services, our licensed and experienced neurological rehabilitation therapists thoughtfully develop a care plan to help you regain skills or learn how to compensate for abilities that may look different long term.
Stroke rehabilitation
As part of our hospital's dedication to stroke care, we offer both structured and custom stroke rehabilitation programs to help you recover abilities that may have been altered after experiencing a stroke. Your personalized rehabilitation plan may include learning how to complete everyday tasks and regain skills such as walking, speaking and swallowing.
Advanced rehabilitation therapy
We also used advanced therapies, such as deep brain stimulation and neuro-prosthetic devices, to help you regain mobility, independence and quality of life. If you are experiencing dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing, we can also implement a safe, noninvasive therapy using electrical stimulation to stimulate swallowing muscles.
