Andrea Cummins first visited HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation in April for neck and back pain. She started with physical therapy but was also looking for something that would help with pain management. She started Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Therapy in June and said the therapy has been life-changing.

MPS is an evidence-based and non-invasive treatment that combines trigger points and myofascial release. It can be used for pain management, postsurgical scars, and vagus nerve stimulation.

For Andrea, it's made all the difference in the world. She says, "Ask anyone who lives with chronic pain. It makes your life better. You have more energy to do things. The pain is gone. One minute you realize what happened to the pain. It's a miracle."

Do you have a question about MPS Therapy and want to know if you might be a candidate? Call Outpatient Rehabilitation at (727) 341-7636.
