HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Visiedo, MSN, RNC-OB, as the new Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, effective January 26, 2025. With more than 23 years of nursing leadership experience, Visiedo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the hospital. Her most recent role was Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, where she led a team of 447 nurses in a 493-bed facility, improving patient outcomes and supporting the professional development of nurses across various service lines. In her new role at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, Visiedo will play a key role in enhancing operational effectiveness and leading the nursing teams toward achieving Excellence Always.
