Jena and Tyler Hawkins, a fun-loving couple, wanted to share their Disney and cruise adventures with a new member of their family.

Once they were married, they thought it would just happen; getting pregnant was supposed to be easy. Their extended family eagerly awaited news of a pregnancy, too.

After five years of trying, the couple decided they needed a bit of help and turned to IUI, intrauterine insemination. Then, they shared the happy news: they were pregnant!

Marlee Michelle joined their family a bit early at 31 weeks; her initials are MM, a nod to Minnie Mouse appropriately.

Marlee stole the hearts of the NICU nurses and created a Swiftie-like following. A NICU team member adorned their locker with pictures of Marlee and needed social tidbits and pictures on the daily. While other babies went to sleep with a sound machine, Marlee quietly slumbered to the Eras Tour.

The Hawkins made a lasting connection with our NICU care team and are #CareLikeFamily loyalists.
