Voluntarios

El programa de voluntarios de HCA Florida North Florida Hospital es una parte integral de nuestro equipo hospitalario. Los voluntarios ofrecen su tiempo y talento en todo el hospital, ayudando en las áreas de pacientes y visitantes. Los voluntarios no son médicos ni clínicos y ayudan a brindar la mejor atención posible a los pacientes, las familias y los visitantes.

Existen oportunidades de voluntariado en muchas áreas, que incluyen:

• Emergency department
• Waiting areas
• Cancer center
• Pre-admissions
• Guest ambassador roles
• Clerical Services

Ser voluntario es una responsabilidad y viene con un cierto nivel de expectativa. Para trabajar con nuestro equipo, debe:

• Be an adult or college student — high-school-aged volunteers may only participate through the VolunTEEN program in the summer
• Understand this program is only for volunteers
• Donate one three to four-hour shift per week (We understand availability and schedule changes for college students.)
• Successfully pass a criminal background check
• Attend a mandatory orientation
