Catheter insertion
IV fluids or drugs may be administered via a catheter inserted from a vein in your elbow to a vein in the armpit (a midline catheter insertion), or it may be peripherally inserted from a vein in the arm to a large vein in the chest (peripherally inserted central catheter, or PICC).
Plasmapheresis
This refers to the process of removing blood plasma, separating cells and plasma and re-administering cells back into the bloodstream.
Remicade treatment
We administer this treatment to aid in treating arthritis and gastrointestinal conditions by weakening the immune system and reducing inflammation.
Subcutaneous injections
Subcutaneous injections are administered right under the skin through a short needle, often for medication that needs to be absorbed by the blood more slowly.
Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) therapy
TPN therapy provides nutrition through a direct supply of nutrients into a vein.
