Visitor information

You will find information below to help you plan for your visit to our hospital.

Visiting hours and polices

However, it is best to speak with the staff on each unit so they may accommodate any special needs you may have in visiting your loved ones. We try to be flexible so you may visit at a time that is most convenient for you and the patient. Units such as the intensive care unit, critical care unit and neonatal intensive care unit, have varying visiting hours.

Infection control

We exist to provide others a healthier tomorrow. Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. We are continuing to take proactive measures to help ensure the health and safety of patients, caregivers, colleagues and our communities. As COVID-19 numbers drop in Okaloosa County, we have adjusted our visitor policy to help better serve our patients and their loved ones. However, in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Hospital Guidelines, we still have to continue some safety guidelines, including:

  • One visitor per patient is permitted in the hospital.
  • Visitors must be at least 18 years old (special circumstances may allow for some exceptions).
  • Visitation hours are 6:00am to 8:00pm, seven days per week.

Please use the following entrances:

  • Main Entrance until 8:00pm
  • Emergency room for medical emergencies and all visitors after 8:00pm
  • If you are coming for surgery or outpatient procedures please use the Outpatient Entrance until 7:00pm (located at the back of the hospital).

While inside the hospital, we ask visitors to help us maintain social distancing standards and to remain in the patient's room as much as possible during their entire visit. We appreciate the cooperation of our visitors, patients, colleagues and providers to support our infection control efforts. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and the CDC updates its guidance and will provide updates as needed.

Special circumstances

Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient's treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.
