Specialized staff provides pediatric emergency care in a kid-friendly emergency room (ER). These highly trained pediatric doctors and nurses use child-sized medical equipment to evaluate and treat your child for medical emergencies.

Our pediatric emergency room services

Our children's emergency room is the first and only of its kind on the Treasure Coast; it offers:

  • 10 pediatric-friendly treatment rooms
  • Board-certified emergency physicians trained in pediatrics
  • Board-certified pediatric subspecialists
  • Child-sized equipment, gowns, IVs, airway management tools and other medical necessities made specifically for children
  • Pediatric triage

Should your child need to be admitted to the hospital for further treatment, we provide comprehensive pediatric services. This includes access to our pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) where we care for seriously ill and injured children.

Kid-friendly emergency care

We know that a visit to the emergency department can be scary for children, so our medical staff has worked hard to create a calm, nurturing environment. We have child-friendly décor and furniture, colorful artwork and an aquarium. We also understand that children have special needs when it comes to emergency care, so we tailor our bedside manner accordingly.
