HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, an affiliate of HCA Florida Healthcare, announces the opening of a new freestanding ER, HCA Florida Airport North Emergency. Opening today, the $12.7 million facility located in the corner of South Semoran Boulevard and Lee Vista Boulevard in Orlando, Florida offers emergency care for adults and children, 24/7/365.
The 10,860 square-foot facility is located north of the Orlando International Airport and expected to serve over 200,000 local residents and over 19 million visitors. In addition, the facility is employing approximately 40 full-time healthcare professionals.
HCA Florida Airport North Emergency is a full-service, state-of-the-art emergency room with board certified emergency medicine physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals ready to service the needs of the community with the same capabilities as a main hospital emergency room. It features 11 emergency exam rooms, CT scan, digital X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory services, and capable of caring for all ages, including pediatrics.
The opening of this new freestanding ER is part of HCA Florida Healthcare’s continued expansion in Central Florida and the Orlando Metro area.
