HCA Florida Brandon Hospital announces Ethics and Compliance Officer
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital announces Director of Pediatrics, Nancy Inanir, has been promoted to Ethics and Compliance Officer (ECO) for HCA Florida Healthcare’s Hillsborough Market. Inanir served as Director of Pediatrics at Brandon Hospital for the last three years.
She brings a wealth of knowledge to the team with 27 years of nursing experience. In her previous role, she was responsible for daily operations of Brandon Hospital’s Level III NICU, the wound care and plastic surgery center and outpatient infusion department.
During her tenure, Inanir was instrumental in the growth of the NICU, leading initiatives that led to zero hospital acquired infections and implementing skin to skin and discharge coordination processes. The unit was also a leading hospital unit for patient experience.
With her many years in the pediatric space, Inanir gained experience in navigating through complex ethical events for the youngest, most vulnerable patients. This experience fosters a profound understanding of patient rights, ethical decision-making and the importance of safeguarding those who cannot advocate for themselves. Her passion for upholding compliance to hospital policies ensures the highest quality of patient care to our most vulnerable patients. Her strong background has prepared Inanir to take the reins of the ECO role.
Inanir is currently attending Galen College for her DNP in the Nurse Executive leadership track. She holds a Master’s degree in Advanced practice nursing from Stony Brook University in NY and a BSN in nursing from Molloy College. She is a licensed ARNP and certified as a CPNP, CCRN, CPN.
In Inanir’s new role, she will serve Brandon Hospital, six FSEDs, as well as two sister facilities in the Hillsborough County market at HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital and HCA Florida South Shore Hospital.
