HCA Florida Largo Hospital names Diane Conti chief nursing officer
Conti is an accomplished leader who brings over 30 years of nursing experience to HCA Florida Largo Hospital.
Largo, FL — HCA Florida Largo Hospital welcomed Diane Conti, MSN, BSN, RN as the new chief nursing officer (CNO), effective April 22, 2024.
Conti is an accomplished leader who brings over 30 years of nursing experience to HCA Florida Largo Hospital. Most recently, she led the nursing teams at HCA Florida St Petersburg Hospital and Pasadena Hospital as CNO where she was instrumental in reducing nursing turnover and increasing engagement, while successfully spearheading a number patient experience initiatives.

She began her nursing career at HCA Edward White Hospital in 1994, and has since served in a variety of roles including director of Emergency Services, Women’s Services, and Critical Care for HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital. After 20 years at St. Petersburg Hospital, she joined the Largo Hospital team as director of Progressive Care/Medical Surgical Unit and Critical Care before being promoted to assistant Chief Nursing Officer.
Conti has a Masters of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah. She served as an evaluator of MSN Capstone students for Western Governors University from November 2016 to March of 2020. She is a member of the Pinellas County EMS Advisory Board and board member for The Kind Mouse.
