Kevin shares his experience with the rehabilitation team at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital.
Kevin Nickels spent several weeks with the HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital inpatient rehabilitation team as he worked to rehabilitate from Guillain Barre Syndrome in July of 2023. He lost feeling from his feet to his knees, couldn't stand, and encountered what he says were some of his most dark and challenging days. He returned to the hospital the week of Thanksgiving because he wanted to "swing" in to say thank you to the team.
He says Renee and Anna from physical therapy were a big part of his recovery. They both were there by his side as he yearned to get back on the golf course and work on his golf "swing".
When he returned to say 'thank you,' he brought picture proof to show HE DID IT. He shook their hands and said thank you for helping to get him there.
