Blake Hospital welcomes new Chief Operating Officer Hank Grinold
Bradenton, FL — HCA Florida Blake Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Hank Grinold as the new Chief Operating Officer, effective today, Monday, April 14, 2025.
Grinold joined HCA Healthcare in 2020 and has most recently served as the vice president of operations at Alaska Regional Hospital. During his tenure, Grinold played a pivotal role in expanding the hospital's robotics program, increasing access to oncology and stroke services and enhancing operational excellence in patient experience and safety.

Prior to his time in Alaska, Grinold completed HCA Healthcare’s prestigious executive residency program in the Mountain Division at Mountain View Hospital and Timpanogos Hospital. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Master of Health Administration with a focus on leadership from the University of North Florida.
Outside of his professional life, Grinold enjoys running with his two dogs and cooking for his wife.
