Promotion of new assistant chief nursing officer announced at JFK Hospital
Sarah Gille promoted to Assistant Chief Nursing Officer.
Atlantis, FL — HCA Florida JFK Hospital, part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare system in the state, is proud to announce the promotion of Sarah Gille to the position of assistant chief nursing officer, effective May 19, 2024. For the past three years, Sarah has served as the director of clinical informatics at JFK Hospital.
An HCA Healthcare veteran of more than 12 years, Sarah first joined the organization as a staff nurse at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. From there, she moved to South Florida and joined the JFK Hospital family as a staff nurse on 5 South. Her path to leadership began shortly after when she became the clinical nurse coordinator for both day and night shift on 5 South. Sarah also worked in the pre-operative department and participated in many projects for the informatics department.
Sarah has been an integral part of the nursing leadership team, demonstrating exceptional dedication, expertise, and a steadfast commitment to patient care throughout her tenure as a director. In her new role, she will continue to drive forward the hospital’s mission of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while providing strategic direction and leadership to our nursing team.

Sarah holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, Florida. She holds two national certifications in informatics nursing and medical-surgical nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
