Peter found success in recovery after bypass surgery through individually-tailored cardiopulmonary rehab sessions.

"It is with pleasure and an honor to provide comments about my experience and high degree of satisfaction for the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program (CRP) at Citrus Hospital. Prior to the event causing my heart bypass surgery I had heard great things about the CRP from a close friend. His laudatory comments were verified with each and every time I attended the rehab sessions."

"I enrolled in the CRP almost immediately after I was released from the watchful eye of my heart bypass surgeon Dr. Kim. Nurse Terri's welcoming remarks gave me reassurances that I was indeed in the best possible place to begin the recovery process. This was reinforced and proven over and over with each rehab session I attended. It was also very comforting to understand the CRP is individually tailored to each and every patient undergoing rehab. This is based on each patient's condition and the number of weeks the patient was recovering after surgery."

"In the CRP remote heart monitors are worn by patients and continuously monitored by a nurse, mostly Susanne in my case, in charge of assigning each stage of the rehabilitation process. Nurse Susanne is backed up by nurses Terri and Krysta when needed. At no time is the patient monitoring console left without a nurse's watchful eye. The individual attention the nurses provide is directed and specific for each patient. There are usually more than a dozen patients going through personal rehab on any particular day."

"The CRP contains a number of state of the art cardio equipment. There are treadmills, bicycles, stepping cycles and other devices ideal for cardio rehab. Previous patient graduates volunteer at the CRP. Tom and Brian were especially very helpful to me during recovery. My time spent in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program was instrumental to the success of my healing process. Nurses Terri, Susanne and Krysta, and volunteers Tom and Brian have my sincerest heartfelt thanks for their superb care and attention during my time with them in the CRP program. All were equal to the very best care I have received at Citrus Hospital."
