Diagnostic orthopedic services

Diagnostic imaging services are an integral part of caring for your orthopedic condition. We use X-rays, computerized tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to diagnose a variety of orthopedic conditions.

Additionally, we also offer a live X-ray imaging tool (called fluoroscopy) in the operating room to guide your surgeon during surgery.

Bone density screening

Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA), or bone density screening, measures bone loss. This scan uses enhanced X-rays and small amounts of radiation to measure bone density and mineral content. A DEXA scan can be a helpful screening tool to evaluate your risk for osteoporosis or bone fractures.
