Outpatient physical rehabilitation
An outpatient rehabilitation program allows patients to stay at home during their recovery and receive therapy on their schedule. It is usually less intensive than inpatient rehabilitation.

Physical therapy services and treatments we offer
Our rehabilitation department offers skilled evaluation and comprehensive treatments by experienced physical, occupational and speech therapists.
Our services and treatments include:
Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy helps patients return to their previous level of functioning following an injury, illness or medical procedure or surgery. Occupational therapists work with patients so they can relearn how to participate in everyday activities or compensate for the loss of some bodily functions. They accomplish this through guided practice and therapy.
Physical therapy
Physical therapy is designed to help patients regain physical strength and mobility following an injury or illness. Our physical therapists use a variety of techniques — including stretching and muscle manipulation — to help patients recover.
Speech therapy
Speech therapy is used to help patients who are experiencing communication difficulties after trauma, such as a cerebrovascular accident (stroke). Speech therapists work with patients to regain normal speech patterns through cognitive and vocal exercises.
Additional specialized services
We also offer additional services that are tailored to meet the needs of patients with specific conditions. These services include:
- Hand rehabilitation
- Pediatric rehabilitation
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Support for living with an amputation
