For many, bone health issues are an inevitable part of aging. According to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, about 10 million Americans have osteoporosis, eighty percent of whom are women.

Our doctors offer bone density scans to determine whether you have osteoporosis or other bone health issues. Bone densitometry tests, or dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA), use x-ray imaging to measure your bone mineral density and bone loss. These tests help our doctors determine your bone health and whether you are at risk for developing osteoporosis or bone fractures.
