“I’ve been coming to Westside Hospital for 3 years due to a chronic condition. I live one hour and twenty minutes away from Westside, and I have another hospital only 5 minutes away from me. I choose to commute an hour and twenty minutes every month to Westside because I am confident in the great care I’ve received and will continue to receive from this hospital. I can honestly say that when I’m here, I feel like my family is taking care of me. In my opinion, quality care is based on the resolution as well as receiving great service. Here, I get both. Not only do you feel the camaraderie amongst the staff, but everything works like clockwork. The team makes sure to give me everything I need to be taken care of. Nicole is the director on this floor and I am very grateful for her. There is nothing she and her nurses can’t handle here at Westside.” — Jack, a patient at Westside Hospital
“I love what I do and having such a great team of nurses definitely helps. I also get to build relationships with patients. Every time I leave the hospital, I always try to look for someone to bring me back. Jack is that person who brings me back and I won’t leave the hospital without saying bye.” — Nicole, Nursing Director for the Med/Surg Unit at Westside Hospital.
A trip to the emergency room showed Cherry Smith that the Westside Hospital staff genuinely care about patient care and happiness during her father's recent stay.
The neurosurgery staff at Westside Hospital kept Robert informed and supported during and after his lumbar spinal fusion surgery, something that frightened him before speaking with the team.
