Dr. Prieto received a medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine at the University of South Florida Affiliated Hospitals in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Prieto has been in private practice since 1991.
