HCA Florida Citrus Hospital hosts Cancer Survivorship Seminar

Inverness, FL —  HCA Florida Citrus Hospital will present a cancer survivorship seminar on Tuesday, May 27 at 2pm at the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA, located at 4127 W. Norvell Bryant Hwy in Lecanto.

“Music is healing” will be guided by occupational therapist and singer/songwriter Chris Choto. Chris will share how music is a universal language and can be utilized to heal bodies and minds. The group will explore the impacts of music on the physical and psychological wellness both during and after cancer treatment. Chris will also share some music during this presentation. 

Cancer survivorship begins at diagnosis and refers to anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer, no matter where they are in the course of their disease. All are welcome to attend.
