HCA Florida Brandon Hospital welcomes Justin Brewer as Chief Operating Officer

Brewer joins Brandon Hospital from HCA Healthcare's Gulf Coast Division

Justin Brewer has joined HCA Florida Brandon Hospital as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He previously held the position of COO at HCA Houston Healthcare West in HCA Healthcare’s Gulf Coast Division. He has extensive healthcare background spanning the state of Texas including nine years of experience at HCA Healthcare hospitals.

During his tenure at HCA Houston Healthcare West, Brewer made great strides with Employee Engagement scores and was a key contributor in major hospital growth and expansion. Brewer oversaw $20 million in capital projects including a 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation expansion.

Brewer was an active  member of the Corporate Advisory Council for the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation, an organization that is committed to growing community impact through literacy. The foundation sends families with newborns home from the hospital with books to help reach early childhood literacy goals.

Brewer and his family are thrilled to move to the west coast of Florida. They love the beach and are excited to experience the vibrant sports and culture of Tampa Bay.
