HCA Florida Healthcare hospitals celebrate the City of North Port's 65th birthday

‌Representatives from HCA Florida Englewood Hospital, HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital and HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital celebrated the 65th birthday of the City of North Port by providing a fresh flower bar to city employees and guests on June 18th on the City Center Green.

‌While the city celebrates 65 years of growth, HCA Florida Healthcare has also hit important milestones in constructing freestanding emergency rooms around the region.   

‌HCA Florida Englewood Hospital broke ground on a $26 million project at 7070 S. Tamiami Trail in the fast-growing Wellen Park Residential Development in North Port. 

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is celebrating the one-year anniversary of opening the HCA Florida Tamiami Trail Emergency, located just over the North Port border in Port Charlotte.  The hospital also has a location in Cape Coral and recently ‌held a beam signing for a freestanding emergency room in Fort Myers, projected to open in fall 2024. 

‌HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors is projected to open a location in Venice in 2025.
