HCA Florida Osceola Hospital announced today it is among America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2025, according to new research released by Healthgrades, the No. 1 online site Americans use when searching for a doctor or hospital. The achievement reflects the hospital’s unwavering commitment to exceptional patient care and puts the facility in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance.

This is the second year the hospital has been included on Healthgrades’ annual list of America’s Best Hospitals – HCA Florida Osceola Hospital received the distinction in 2023 as well, and has received several other recent recognitions from Healthgrades, including the Patient Safety Excellence Award (2022-2024), America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Vascular Surgery and America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Stroke Care.

"We are honored to have received the America’s Best Hospitals recognition from Healthgrades for the second time,” said David Shimp, CEO, HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. “This achievement reflects our team’s hard work and commitment to excellence to our patients and high-quality care."

The Healthgrades recognitions received by HCA Florida Osceola Hospital are based exclusively on what matters most: patient outcomes. To determine the top hospitals for 2025, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for over 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Healthgrades’ annual analysis revealed significant performance gaps between the nation’s highest- and lowest-achieving hospitals, making it increasingly important to seek care at a top-rated facility. In fact, from 2021-2023, if all hospitals, as a group, had performed similarly to America’s 250 Best, on average, 174,081 lives could potentially have been saved. * In total, 49 HCA Healthcare Hospitals nationwide were named to Healthgrades’ annual list of America’s Best Hospitals.

“America’s 250 Best Hospitals, including HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, are elevating the standard for quality care nationwide,” said Brad Bowman, MD, chief medical officer and head of data science at Healthgrades. “Healthgrades commends HCA Florida Osceola Hospital for its ongoing leadership and commitment to providing the best possible care for all patients in Central Florida.”

As care variation grows, consumers must find and select a top-rated hospital to maximize their chances of a successful outcome.
