HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is excited to announce the appointment of Melissa Visiedo, MSN, RNC-OB, as the new Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, effective January 26, 2025. With over 23 years of nursing leadership experience, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our leadership team, and we are thrilled to welcome her aboard. Melissa’s most recent role was as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, where she led a team of 587 nurses within a 493-bed facility, and expanded Women's Services and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) departments, driving improvements in patient outcomes and fostering the professional development of nurses across various service lines. In her new role at Kendall Hospital, Melissa will be instrumental in enhancing operational effectiveness, and leading the nursing teams toward the goal of achieving Excellence Always. Her experience, vision, and passion for nursing make her an exceptional addition to the leadership team.
