HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital recently hosted a South Tampa Chamber of Commerce Women's Connection event designed to educate community business leaders on current women's health trends.
Tampa, FL — HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital recently hosted a South Tampa Chamber of Commerce Women’s Connection event designed to educate community business leaders on current women’s health trends.
The event was held on Thursday, June 20, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the hospital’s Auditorium and featured a panel of three physicians on staff at the hospital who provided important information about health issues affecting women. Bridgette Bello, CEO & publisher of Tampa Bay Business and Wealth Magazine, served as moderator. More than 65 guests attended the event and had the opportunity to meet Dr. Jessica Stine, gynecological oncologist, Dr. Rashmi Roy, Thyroid Surgeon, and Dr. Rosebel Monteiro, general surgeon. Participants also were able to ask specific questions of each physician following the panel discussion.
“This event provided a wonderful opportunity for us to introduce some of the amazing women physicians we are privileged to have on staff at South Tampa Hospital,” stated Sonia Wellman, CEO. “Feedback we received following the event was that it was very informative; not only did the panel discuss common women’s health disorders, but the doctors also offered insights and education to help women prioritize wellness.
