Citrus Hospital names Jordan Fulkerson as chief financial officer
Jordan Fulkerson also previously served as chief financial officer at St. Petersburg Hospital and has 5 years with HCA Healthcare.
Inverness, FL — HCA Florida Citrus Hospital recently announced the appointment of Jordan Fulkerson as chief financial officer.
“With a five-year tenure at HCA Healthcare and a background as a graduate of the HCA Healthcare Executive Development program, Jordan brings a wealth of experience to our leadership team,” said Lisa Nummi, CEO.
Fulkerson began his hospital finance career at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee, Ill., where he served as an accountant for three years before being promoted to the director of patient financial services and health information management. He then transitioned to George E. Weems Memorial Hospital, a critical access facility in Apalachicola, Fla. as the director of revenue cycle management. Within two years, he was promoted to chief financial officer.
Fulkerson joined HCA in 2018 as the assistant chief financial officer (ACFO) at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. He was then promoted to the ACFO role at HCA Florida Largo Hospital and was selected to participate in the HCA Healthcare Executive Development Program. During his time at Largo, Fulkerson worked closely with his team to secure significant funding for expansion projects to upgrade equipment and launch new clinical programs to better meet the needs of the community. He comes to us most recently from HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital where he also served as chief financial officer.
